[December 11, 2007]  ST. LOUIS -- The ice storm got an early start for the Lincoln Christian College basketball teams Saturday, as they both dropped games to Webster University in St. Louis.

The men's team was only able to shoot a cold 38.7 percent from the floor in the first half of their 91-67 loss. Alex Bond was able to score 30 points and gather five rebounds, but received little help as Adam Everett was the only other Preacher in double figures, with 14, and no other teammate was able to get more than four rebounds.

The Preachers (3-7) are now off for the semester break and will play again on Jan. 5, when they take on Westminster College at the Laughlin Center.

The Angels were even colder as they hit on 25 percent for their game. Bobbie Larson led the low-scoring Angels with seven points, and Danielle Snider grabbed seven rebounds.

The Angels (1-9) are also taking a break until Jan. 5, when they also will entertain Westminster College.
