Phyllis 'Louise' Neff

[December 17, 2007]  Phyllis "Louise" Neff, 80, of Lincoln died Friday, Dec. 14, 2007, at 7:32 p.m. at St. Clara's Manor in Lincoln.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Hartsburg Union Cemetery, Hartsburg.

Mrs. Neff was a retired owner of Bob's Variety Shop in Lincoln.

She was born Feb. 5, 1927, at Wyandotte, Mich., to Harry C. and Leona Hennette Rushlow. She married Robert C. Neff on Feb. 27, 1943, in St. Louis, Mo. He preceded her in death on Oct. 23, 2000.

She is survived by one daughter, Sherry Lee Geriets (and Earl Schultz) of Lincoln; a half sister, Leona Garber of Fresno, Calif.; six grandchildren, Lee Ann (and Kevin) Boward of Sauneman, Tracy (and John) Cotner of Heyworth, Sheila Neff, John Neff and David Neff and an adopted granddaughter, Connie (and Steve) Leevy of Decatur; four great-grandchildren, David (and Kay) DeTar of Heyworth, Zach Laubenstein of St. Charles, Dustin Hill of Springfield and Kenny Geriets of Heyworth; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Robert Neff Jr.
