Norma 'Sue' Gleason

[December 24, 2007]  ELKHART -- Norma Jeanne "Sue" Gleason, 79, of Elkhart died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007, at 6 p.m. at St. Clara's Manor in Lincoln.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Elkhart, with Father Thomas Shaw officiating.

Burial will be in Elkhart Cemetery.

Mrs. Gleason was a homemaker.

She was born July 15, 1928, in Lincoln to Ernest and Anna Howland Hagan. She married Martin F. "Marty" Gleason in Lincoln on Feb. 19, 1949.

She is survived by her husband, of Elkhart; six sons, William (and Mary) Gleason of Middletown, Larry (and Martha) Gleason of Elkhart, Robert (and Nina) Gleason of Middletown, Tim (and Christine) Gleason of Elkhart, Todd (and Claranne) Gleason of Mahomet and Jay (and Laurie) Gleason of Princeton; 17 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, three sisters and one granddaughter.

She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Elkhart.

Memorials may be made to St. Patrick's Youth Group.
