A graveside service for Mr. Preston will be at 10
a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, at Holy Cross Cemetery in
Lincoln, with the Rev. Julie Azbell officiating.
Military rites will be conducted. No visitation is
scheduled. Cremation rites have been accorded.
Peasley Funeral Home is in charge of
arrangements.
Mr. Preston retired from Lincoln Development
Center in 2002 after 30 years of service.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He was born Feb. 11, 1939, in Lincoln to John M.
and Rosetta Hall Preston.
He is survived by one brother, Wayne Preston of
Lincoln, and one sister, Dorothy Faltman of
Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth
Preston and Lottie Tibbs.
