Grover Fulk Jr., 77, of Lincoln died
Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007, at 10:03 p.m. at St. John's Hospice in
Springfield.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. His funeral will be
at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Craig Smith
officiating. |
Burial will be in Zion Cemetery. Mr. Fulk retired
from Caterpillar Tractor Co. in Decatur in 1992
after 32 years as a machinist and inspector.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was born Aug. 21, 1929, in Peoria to Grover C.
and Pearl Eve Gordon Fulk. He married Orlena "Lee"
Winkel on June 21, 1949, in Lincoln, and she
preceded him in death on Sept. 1, 1991. He married
Donna "Charlene" Sullivan on Aug. 26, 1996, in
Lincoln. She survives.
Other survivors are three sons, Jeffrey Fulk,
Robert Fulk and Mike (and Joyce) Fulk, all of
Lincoln; one daughter, Rhonda Fulk Mahan of Lincoln;
10 stepchildren; one brother, Orville (and Kathy)
Fulk of Shelbyville; a half sister, Loretta Fae
Cline of Lincoln; eight grandchildren and 26
stepgrandchildren; and five great-grandchildren and
several step-great-grandchildren. |
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Dean
and Billy Fulk.
He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post
1756, Moose Lodge of Lincoln 1441 and Eagles Lodge
of Lincoln 2708.

Foundation.
