Rick Aylesworth announced the low bidder for mowing
this year is Dan Hardin of Lincoln. The full board will likely
approve this contract Tuesday at its regular voting session.
In other action, finance chairman Chuck Ruben announced the audit
has resumed of 2005 financials as of Feb. 15.
Ruben also announced that an agreement had been worked out with the
Tri-County Regional Planning Commission to oversee Logan County's
GIS program. A voice vote indicated this would pass on Tuesday.
Law Enforcement/Emergency Management Committee chairman Michael
McIntosh announced that the paramedic association will soon be acquiring
a new ambulance. The trade-in value was only $3,000 on the old
ambulance, so the committee is considering donating it to animal
control. A decision will come later on this idea.
The furniture for the 911 emergency dispatch center has been ordered,
and final specifications are being prepared for the remodeling of
areas in the Lincoln-Logan County Safety Complex that are affected
by the relocation of the dispatching functions.
