Norman's mother, his three sisters, and two children were in
attendance to witness the honor. Norman's son, Brian -- a former
Lincoln Railer star, former Illinois Fighting Illini standout and
current Los Angeles Lakers' forward -- was in attendance for the
ceremony. "I thought it was great," Lincoln coach Alexander said
of Norman Cook's jersey being retired. "It was well-deserved, for a
family that is well-deserving."
