Applicants are reminded to have their completed applications and supporting documents returned to the proper address in one envelope. Sometimes it is difficult to find the rank in class and the ACT or SAT scores. It would be a good idea if the applicant would circle these items. Also, be sure to meet the deadline. Pay particular attention as to what you are to send with your application, such as the official transcripts through first semester of senior year and explanation of the grading system used by your school. And, a precaution: Signatures must be affixed, and they must be the signatures of the student and the student's parent or legal guardian. Complete each line.

Students, ask your school sponsor for these applications. If not available, write to the AMVETS address already stated. Any student in Illinois is eligible for these scholarships.
