Dean Constant

[JAN. 8, 2007]  Dean E. "Deano" Constant, 79, of Lincoln died Friday, Jan. 5, 2007, at 9 p.m. at St. Clara's Manor.

His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Park Meadows Baptist Church, with the Rev. Thomas E. Bryant officiating. Visitation will be from 9 until 11 a.m. at the church.

Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery, rural Williamsville.

Peasley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Constant retired in 1988 after 43 years with Pittsburgh Plate Glass, where he was a glass sealer.

He served in the U.S. States Army.

He was born Oct. 24, 1927, in Middletown to Donald and Ruth Showalter Constant. He married Frances Everhart on Oct. 12, 1963, in Springfield. She survives.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years; eight children, Connie Buckner of Lake Fork, Gary Constant of Lake Fork, Vickie Grey of Lincoln, Cheryl Lee of Caladonia, Minn., Terry Constant of Lincoln, Irene Daniels of Lincoln, Diane Martin of Atlanta and Ruth Gee of Beason; one brother, Howard Constant of Springfield; 23 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
