[JAN. 15, 2007]  HARTSBURG -- Phillip Arnold Knutson, 67, of Hartsburg died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007, at 9:30 a.m. at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, with the Rev. Marvin Kindle officiating.

There is no visitation.

Burial will be in Hartsburg Union Cemetery.

Mr. Knutson rewound motors through Laborers Local 193 in Springfield.

He was born April 7, 1939, at Libertyville to Burdett and Pearl Cashmore Knutson. He married Marsha Morgan on Sept. 2, 1978, at Hartsburg.

He is survived by his wife, of Hartsburg; his mother, Pearl Harmer of Antigo, Wis.; one sister Deborah (and Marvin) Kindle of White Lake, Wis.; one brother, Donald (and Nikki) Harmer of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and many nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his father.

He attended the Assembly of God in Waukegan and was a member of the Bloomington-Normal Deaf Club.

Memorials may be made to Hartsburg Rescue Squad.
