BLOOMINGTON -- Eileen J. Huelskoetter,
80, formerly of Lincoln, died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007, at 6:20 p.m.
at Martin Health Center.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. |
Family and friends will meet at Zion Lutheran Church
in Chestnut at 9 a.m. Thursday for a graveside
service at Laenna Cemetery, Chestnut. Following
the graveside service, there will be a service at 11
a.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln,
with the Rev. Phillip Kaufman and the Rev. Mark
Thompson officiating.
Mrs. Huelskoetter was a homemaker and bookkeeper
on the family farm in Beason.
She was born May 19, 1926, in Chestnut to Henry
and Hilma Schaffenacker Dierker. She married Albert
Huelskoetter on Jan. 9, 1949, in Chestnut.
She is survived by her husband, "Al," of
Bloomington; two sons, Lynn (and Chris) Huelskoetter
of Boston, Mass., and Larry (and Vicki) Huelskoetter
of Beason; two daughters, Karen Huelskoetter of
Chicago and Kenda (and Joe) Jones of Beason; one
brother, Kenneth Dierker of Chestnut; one sister,
Dorothy Shaffer of Marshall, Mich.; and seven
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two
brothers and one sister |
She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Normal
and formerly a member of Zion Lutheran Church in
Lincoln. She had been organist at Zion and at Faith
Lutheran Church in Lincoln.
Memorials may be made to the building fund of
Christ Lutheran Church in Normal, the building fund
of Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln or to Faith
Lutheran Church in Lincoln.
