Lucia McCray

[JAN. 31, 2007]  Lucia M. McCray, 80, of Robinson, formerly of Lincoln, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007, at 6:55 a.m. in Robinson.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln, with the Rev. Curt McCallister officiating. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Lincoln.

Mrs. McCray worked in the dietary department at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital for 12 years.

She was born April 1 1926, in Cantrell to David M. and Flora M. Jacaway. She married Paul McCray on June 22, 1962. He preceded her in death on March 1, 2002.

She is survived by one son, Kevin (and Laralee) McCray of Robinson; one daughter, Kathy (and Charlie) Lercher of Lincoln; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Karen McCray.

Mrs. McCray was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mason City.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
