McLEAN -- Ellen L. Lynch, 84, of McLean
died Sunday, July 1, 2007, at 7:15 a.m. at LeRoy Manor in LeRoy.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Quiram Peasley
Funeral Home in Atlanta. Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the
funeral home, with the Rev. Andy Maxwell officiating. |

Burial will be in McLean Cemetery. She was born in
Lincoln to Tom and Dena Young. She married C.E.
"Mike" Lynch on June 2, 1946, in Atlanta. He
preceded her in death Oct. 19, 1995.
She is survived by her sons, Mike (and Jean)
Lynch of Bloomington and Kevin Lynch of Bloomington;
one sister, Ivol Park of Atlanta; two grandchildren,
John Lynch of Minneapolis, Minn., and Jennifer (and
Bill) Koons of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; one
great-grandson, Baxter Patrick Koons; and many
nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her two
brothers, Yale Young and Marion Young.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church
of McLean.
She graduated from Atlanta High School. |
Mrs. Lynch's family would like to thank the
employees of LeRoy Manor for the excellent care
given to their mother while she was a resident at
the facility.
