Norma Jean Fleshman, 77, of Lincoln
died Tuesday, July 3, at St. Clara's Manor.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Holland Barry and Bennett
Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert Henderson of First Baptist Church
officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 until 11 a.m. at the
funeral home. |
Burial will be in Zion Cemetery. Mrs. Fleshman
worked at the Lincoln Community High School
cafeteria for 14 years and was a receptionist at the
Lincoln Rec Center.
She was born March 25, 1930, in Lincoln to Paul
F. and Virginia Dalzell Rickord. She married James
D. Fleshman Sr. on Oct. 23, 1949, in Lincoln. He
preceded her in death April 19, 1998. She is now
reunited with the love of her life.
She is survived by one son, James P. (and Beth)
Fleshman of Lincoln; one daughter, Marsha (and
Rodger) Schriber of Sterling; one brother, Frank
(and Linda) Rickord of Lincoln; one sister, Pat (and
Larry) Funk of Sherman; three granddaughters, Trisha
Schriber of Poplar Grove, Alison (and Brian) Bloemer
of Teutopolis and Stephanie Schriber of Aurora; one
grandson, Jake Fleshman of Indianapolis, Ind.; and
two cherished great-grandchildren, Jillian Kenzie
and Molly.
Mrs. Fleshman was a member of the First Baptist
Church of Lincoln and the American Business Women's
Association. |
She did volunteer work at Abraham Lincoln Memorial
Hospital.
She graduated from Lincoln Community High School.
Memorials may be made to Memorial Hospice or St.
Clara's Manor.
