Wannetta Beadleston

[July 09, 2007]  MOUNT PULASKI -- Wannetta M. Beadleston, 82, of Mount Pulaski died Friday, July 6, 2007, at 1:53 p.m. at Vonderlieth Living Center.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mount Pulaski Christian Church, with Jeremy Thomason officiating.

Burial will be in Garver Church Cemetery, Oreana.

Mrs. Beadleston worked in retail and restaurant management for 32 years.

She was born April 22, 1925, in Mount Pulaski to Emil and June A. Thompson Wachter. She married Robert Beadleston in Decatur on Jan. 15, 1966.

She is survived by one son, Nelson Everett "Butch" (and Mary Lou) Ferry of LaPlata, Mo; three daughters, Marle Kay (and George) Bond of Latham, Karen Sue Krall of Decatur and Linda Lou (and Tom) Werren of Warrensburg; one stepdaughter, Judy (and Larry) Drake of Loveland, Colo.; six grandchildren and five stepgrandchildren; and six great-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a stepson and a sister.

She was a member of Mount Pulaski Christian Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 99 Auxiliary, a lifetime member of Royal Neighbors and a past member of American Business Women's Association.

She was a devoted, loving mother and grandmother and was a caring, generous person.

Memorials may be made to Mount Pulaski Christian Church or Latham Fire Department.
