GIFFORD -- On Saturday, the Lincoln Senior Legion team played a
doubleheader with Rantoul at Gifford. Lincoln won both games, taking
the first 14-11 and the second 8-5. Josh Gardner picked up the
victory in the first game, and Josh Baker picked up the win in the
second game.
Lincoln banged out 20 hits in game one and 10 in game two. Cody
Aughton had seven total hits for the day, with a home run, triple
and two singles in game one and a double and two singles in game
two. Also in game one, Royce Duncan had a triple and three singles,
Gary Rademaker three hits, Justin Ritchhart two doubles, Josh Baker
two hits, Jeremy Moore two hits, Kyle Hower a double, and Colan
Eigenbrod a double. In game two, along with Aughton's three hits,
Colan Eigenbrod had a double and single,Cramer Soebbing two hits, and Clark Schoonover two hits.

METAMORA -- On Sunday, the Lincoln Senior Legion traveled to
Metamora and brought home an 11-1 victory to end the regular season.
Royce Duncan was the winning pitcher for Lincoln.
Kyle Hower had three hits, Justin Ritchhart two hits, and Jeremy
Moore, Cody Aughton and Colan Eigenbrod each added a double. David
Williams hit a first-inning grand slam for Lincoln.
