EMDEN -- Matthew Mark Osborn, 35, of
Emden died Friday, July 20, 2007, at 6 a.m. in Becker County, Minn.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. His
funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the
funeral home, with the Rev. Julie Azbell
officiating. |

Burial will be in Richmond Grove
Cemetery, New Holland.
Mr. Osborn was a laborer with Local 231 of Pekin.
He was born Nov. 18, 1971, in Springfield to
David and Shirley Azbell Osborn.
He is survived by his parents, of Emden; two
daughters, Samantha Osborn and Carina Osborn, both
of Manito; one son, Matthew Osborn Jr. of Manito;
two sisters, Eileen (and John) Rose of Mason City
and Erin Osborn of Emden; one brother, David Osborn
Jr. of Mason City; three nieces, Christina
Robertson, Brittany Osborn and Carley Rose; and two
nephews, Trevor Leamon and Johnathon Osborn.
He was preceded in death by his paternal
grandparents, Harold and Violet Osborn Sr., and his
maternal grandparents, Clarence and Ruth Azbell. |
He was of the Methodist faith.
Memorials may be made to a fund for his children,
in care of David and Shirley Osborn.
