Wilbur Anderson

[May 31, 2007]  Wilbur Forrest Anderson, 85, of Lincoln died Saturday, May 26, 2007, at St. Clara's Manor.

His body will be cremated.

A graveside service in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville, will be scheduled later.

Mr. Anderson proudly served our country in the Army during World War II.

He was born Nov. 19, 1921, in Pawnee to John R. and Vali B. Mullens Anderson. He married Arlene Ford, and she preceded him in death. He then remarried, and his second wife, Erma, also preceded him in death.

He is survived by two sons, Gary Anderson (and Barb) of Pekin and Barry Anderson (and Kay) of New Holland; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the organization of the donor's choice that will benefit our men and women in the armed forces.
