Nancy Glick

[May 29, 2007]  Nancy Jane "Nanny" Glick, 66, of Lincoln died Monday, May 28, 2007, at 11:03 p.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Visitation will be 1-4 p.m. Sunday, June 3, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 4, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Henderson officiating.

Burial will be in Zion Cemetery.

Mrs. Glick was a factory worker at Eaton Corp. for 29 years.

She was born Nov. 20, 1940, in Decatur to Charles V. and Lora Edith Cox Bowen. She married Guy R. "Butch" Glick on Sept. 12, 1964, in Decatur.

She is survived by her husband, of Lincoln; two sons, Chad M. (and Angie) Glick of Lincoln and Greg (and Jennifer) Glick of Lincoln; one brother, Richard Bowen of Davis, Okla.; one sister, Beverly (and Dick) Winkelblack of Decatur; four grandchildren, Caytlynn Tungate and Ashlynn Glick of Lincoln, and Martin Glick and Cameron Glick of Lincoln; and several nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Patty Lickie; and two brothers, Max and Mike Bowen.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lincoln and the Eaton Employees Credit Union.

She was a great wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be deeply missed by all she touched.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation or Logan County Health Department.
