Taylor Sparrow was the winning pitcher for Edward Jones, with eight
strikeouts. Morgan Gleason came up with the save in relief, with two
strikeouts.
Morgan Gleason had two hits with a double and four RBIs. Meg
Meeker also had two hits.
Other girls who contributed to batting with one hit each were
Savannah Conrady, Taylor Sparrow, Zoe Nepolello, Reilly Gallagher,
Ashlyn Lessen, Sami Fletcher, Jenna Irwin, and Emmi Fisher.
"I was really proud of how the girls swung the bat tonight," said
Kim Koester, coach for Edward Jones. "They were all very aggressive
and made contact with the ball. They are showing a lot of
improvement."
Edward Jones remains undefeated, 6-0.
