Dolores Robbins

[June 09, 2007]  Dolores R. Robbins, 75, of Lincoln died Friday, June 8, 2007, at 8:20 a.m. at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Zion Cemetery.

Mrs. Robbins was a certified nurse's aide at the Christian Nursing Home before she retired.

She was born Aug. 11, 1931, at Atlanta to Charles and Lois Vannoy Smith Sr. She married Lyle W. Robbins Sr. on April 14, 19(?) in Atlanta. He preceded her in death on July 14, 1999.

She is survived by two sons, Lyle (and Brigitta "Babsy") Robbins Jr. of Lincoln and Douglas (and Jan) Robbins of Lincoln; one sister, Charlene Fulk of Lincoln; three brothers, Charles Smith Jr. of Lincoln, Harold Jones of Clinton and Vernon Jones of Lincoln; six grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren; and two great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and two brothers.

She was of the Protestant faith.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
