[June 11, 2007]  CLINTON -- MKS Jewelers won their game against Clinton's blue team on Friday at Clinton by a score of 19-15. Ashley Getchel was the winning pitcher, and she also had a hit and two runs. Madison Bishop had a single, double and four runs. Abby Cline had one hit and four runs. Jordan Wood had two singles, a double and two runs. Haley Turner had two hits and two runs. Breanna Waller had one single, one double and two runs. Joella Vermiere had a hit and scored twice. Kieran Foster scored once, and Rebecca Brooks had a hit to help out in the win.

In the second game, MKS Jewelers won against another Clinton team by the score of 7-2. Madison Bishop got the win and had two hits. Haley Turner and Abby Cline each had a hit and scored twice each for MKS. Jordan Wood had a single, a double and one run. Rebecca Brooks had two hits and one run. Breanna Waller had two hits. Joella Vermiere had a hit and a run. Kieran Foster and Ashley Getchel both had hits to help MKS in their victory.

MKS is now 7-4 on the season. The team will have its next games on Thursday in Mason City. They will be playing a doubleheader starting at 6 p.m. at the field by the bus shed. Their next home game will be at the Lincoln Park District fields on Friday at 6 p.m.
