Max Cook went the distance in the first game, giving up no earned
runs. The leading hitters in the first game were Collin Antoine, who
went 2-3 with two RBIs, and Ryan Sloan, who went 3-3 with two RBIs.
The Heat won the first game 11-1. Will Podbelsek threw a
four-inning no-hitter in the second game, striking out three along
the way. Leading hitters for the Heat included Cody Heidbreder going
4-4, Tate Gordon going 3-3 and Tyler Horchem going 2-2. The Heat
triumphed in a 16-0 victory.
Next game was Sunday at 1 p.m. in Bloomington at the Pony Complex
versus the McLean County Knights.
