Frances 'Ruby' Taylor

[June 13, 2007]  Frances "Ruby" Taylor, 92, of Lincoln died Tuesday, June 12, 2007, at 12:56 a.m. at Brownstown.

Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Holland Barry and Bennett Funeral Home in Lincoln. The Rev. Dee Lynn of the Assembly of God in Worden will be assisted by Pastor Jacob Skelton of Lincoln Church of God. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, rural San Jose.

Holland Barry and Bennett Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Ms. Taylor had been supervisor of direct care at Lincoln Developmental Center. She retired in 1981 after 35 years of service.

She was born Feb. 9, 1915, at Harness to William A. and Josephine Jumper Lowe.

She is survived by two daughters, Ruby Marie Bates of Lincoln and Emily Frances Reece of Brownstown; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Edwin and Calvin Lowe, and one sister, Catherine Stonecipher

She attended the Lincoln Church of God.

Memorials may be made to the building fund at her church.
