Lincoln Senior Legion begins season      

[June 15, 2007]  On Thursday the Lincoln Senior Legion team opened up the 2007 season by defeating Clinton 9-3 at home.

The winning pitcher was Cramer Soebbing (1-0), and the losing pitcher for Clinton was Buckles.

For Lincoln, Gary Rademaker went 3-for-5, and Justin Mason added a double. Cody Aughton, Justin Ritchhart and Royce Duncan each added a hit. Clark Schoonover picked off four batters in the seventh and eighth innings while pitching in relief.

Lincoln will travel to Pontiac on Saturday for a doubleheader starting at 11 a.m.
