Beverly Lynch

[June 15, 2007]  Beverly Sue Lynch, 66, of Lake Toxaway, N.C., a native of Charleston, died Monday, June 11, 2007, at 5:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Missions Hospital, Asheville, N.C.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 18, at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield. Flower City Chapter of Eastern Star of Springfield will conduct a service.

Local arrangements are by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Mrs. Lynch was a homemaker.

She was born Sept. 2, 1940, in Charleston to Fred Albert and Ellen Calvert Freeman. She married Claude M. Lynch on April 10, 1960, in Mountain Home, Idaho.

She is survived by her mother, of Charleston; her husband, of Lake Toxaway, N.C.; two daughters, Patricia Ushman of Springfield and Susan (and Jim) Sheley of New Holland; one sister, Ann Roley of Charleston; and three grandchildren, Ashley Ushman, Jameson Sheley and Mark Ushman.

She was preceded in death by her father and two brothers, Leslie and Mike Freeman.

She was a charter member of Charleston Community Church.

She was also a member of Sopha C. Chapter-Elect Lady of the Eastern Star and Royal Neighbors of America.

Memorials may be made to breast cancer research.
