Morgan Gleason was the winning pitcher in the first game, recording
four strikeouts in three innings. Meg Meeker pitched the final
inning in relief. Morgan Gleason led the team with a triple and
three runs. Ashlyn Lessen, Sami Fletcher, Savannah Conrady and Jenna
Irwin scored two runs each. Taylor Sparrow had a single and scored a
run.
Taylor Sparrow was the winning pitcher in the weather-shortened
second game. She pitched two innings and had three strikeouts. Meg
Meeker pitched one inning of relief.
Once again, Morgan Gleason led the team in hitting, with two
doubles and a single. Taylor Sparrow, Shelby Osborne, Sami Fletcher
and Kaitlyn Frizzel each contributed two hits, with Taylor scoring
three times and Shelby having three RBIs. Jenna Irwin and Ashlyn
Lessen contributed one hit each.
