Ruth M. Stewart, 88, of Lincoln died
Sunday, June 24, 2007, at 11:45 p.m. at the Christian Village. |

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln,
with Ron Otto officiating. Visitation will be from
10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be
in Irish Grove Cemetery, Middletown.
Mrs. Stewart was a sales clerk at J.C. Penney's
before she retired.
She was born Dec. 16, 1918, in Pekin to Andy Lee
and May E. Theison Stone. She married Howard W.
Stewart on June 20, 1959, in Lincoln. He preceded
her in death on Jan. 23, 1989.
She is survived by one stepson, John (and Julia)
Stewart of Washington; two stepdaughters, Diedra
Dellinger of Pekin and Dianna (and Danny) Shepherd
of Apache Junction, Ariz.; four stepgrandchildren;
and longtime friends Jerry and Beverly Gaddy of
Lincoln.
She was also preceded in death by one brother. |
She was a member of Lincoln Christian Church, White
Shrine of Jerusalem and Eastern Star 351 of Lincoln.
Memorials may be made to Lincoln Christian Church
or the donor's choice.
