There will be a graveside service at 2 p.m. Monday
at Zion Cemetery, with the Rev. Oscar Owens
officiating. Visitation will be at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln one
hour prior to the service.
She had worked as a
waitress in Gary, Ind.
She was born June 20, 1924, in Detroit, Mich., to
Benjamin Franklin and Florence Weaver Manley.
She is survived by one son, Sidney (and Linda)
Petro of Lawndale; two daughters, Carolyn Tate of
Joliet and Linda (and Ted) Presswood of Lincoln; one
sister, Fay Farris of Champaign; one brother, Leo
Manley of Illinois; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-
grandchildren; and 24 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Roger; one
brother, Paul Manley; and one sister, Alma Irvin.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Disease
Foundation.
