[March 01, 2007]  ARMINGTON -- Helen Timm, 83, of Lincoln, formerly of Armington died Thursday, March 1, 2007, at 1:37 a.m. at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Quiram Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta, with Ed Loyd officiating. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Hieronymus Cemetery in rural Armington.

She was born Feb. 24, 1924, in Armington to Clinton and Lena Powell Mason. She married Ralph Timm on Nov. 14, 1945, at the Armington Christian Church. He preceded her in death on Feb. 10, 1991.

She is survived by her two sons, Kenneth (and Connie) Timm of Atlanta and Bill (and Patty) Timm of Hartsburg; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers.

She was a member of the Armington Christian Church and a charter member of Taylor Eckhardt American Legion Auxiliary Unit 913.

She graduated from Armington Grade School in 1938 and from Hittle Township High School in 1942.

Memorials may be made to the Armington Rescue Squad.
