[March 10, 2007]  NORMAL -- The Illinois State football program hosted nearly a dozen NFL scouts on Friday for its 2007 Pro Day on the Illinois State University campus.

Redbird prospects including Pierre Jackson, Lamont Lagrone, Pierre Rembert, Laurént Robinson, Cameron Siskowic, James Temple and Jake Weber were each weighed and measured for the scouts.

The players went through numerous drills inside the Owen Strength and Conditioning Center and Horton Field House to test agility, speed, quickness, strength and ball control. (See results.) [To download Adobe Acrobat Reader for the PDF file, click here.]

The ISU football program hosts NFL coaches and scouts each year on campus, providing an evaluation process for the pro staffs in a familiar environment for the Redbird players.

The annual NFL Draft will be held in New York City on April 28-29.
