[March 21, 2007]  Receiving the J. Michael Abbott Memorial Scholarship at the Logan County Ag Day Breakfast on Wednesday was Elizabeth Brooks from Lincoln Community High School. She is going to the University of Illinois and majoring in agricultural engineering.

Other ag scholarship recipients:
  • Kyle Atteberry from Lincoln Community High School is going to the University of Illinois and majoring in technical systems management.

  • Britney Cowen from Mount Pulaski High School is going to the University of Illinois and majoring in ag education and ag business.

  • Timothy Davis from Mount Pulaski High School is going to Illinois State University and majoring in agriculture sciences and agronomy.

  • Andrew Fulton from Lincoln Community High School is going to the University of Illinois and majoring in ag engineering

  • Blaine Hellman from Hartsburg-Emden High School is going to the University of Illinois and majoring in ag engineering and ag finance.

  • Taylor Hilgendorf from Hartsburg-Emden is going to U of I or ISU and majoring in ag business.

  • Michael S. Litterly from Mount Pulaski High School is going to Lake Land College to major in John Deere technology.
