  • Fertilizer/Chemical Facilities: 13 locations

  • Seed Co. Headquarters/Regional: 4

  • Grain Elevators: 9 companies/14 locations

  • Ag Lenders : 15 not including fertilizer/chemical dealers

  • Numerous other businesses providing products and services for agriculture!

The agricultural industry is Illinois' largest employer

  • 68.6% of the Illinois job growth is agriculturally related

  • 9% growth is projected in the next decade

  • 25% of the Illinois civilian workforce is employed in the agricultural industry

 

 

Is agriculture important to Logan County?

   Clearly…. it is very important!!
