[May 21, 2007]  Todd Michael Blaum, 28, of Lincoln died Saturday, May 19, 2007, in an auto accident at Business 55 and Fancy Creek bridge. Pronouncement of death was at 10:16 p.m.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church in Lincoln. His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, with Chaplain Don Pritchard officiating.

Burial will be in Irish Grove Cemetery, rural Middletown.

Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Blaum was an officer with the Lincoln Police Department.

He was born Nov. 3, 1978, in Lincoln to Mark Randall and Kitty Danley Blaum.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Kitty and Bandy Adye of Greenview, who raised him; his companion, Nicole Davis of Lincoln; one son, Gage Michael Blaum of Lincoln; two brothers, Zachary Adye of Lincoln and Trevor Adye of Greenview; one sister, Katrina Adye of Greenview; grandparents Eileen Danley of Lincoln, Bob and Cherie Danley of Lincoln, and Diane Adye of Lincoln; and a great-grandmother, Nadine Cocklin of Columbus Junction, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his father, paternal grandparents and paternal step-grandfather.

He graduated from Lincoln Community High School, Illinois State University and the University of Illinois Police Training Institute in Champaign.

A fund has been set up at CEFCU in Lincoln for his son Gage's education. Memorials may be directed there and will be accepted the evening of visitation.
