[May 31, 2007]  CLINTON -- MKS Jewelers played a doubleheader in Clinton on Wednesday.

MKS won the first game 3-2.

Winning pitcher Hayley Turner had a hit to help her efforts. Jordan Wood had a double with two RBIs. Ashley Getchel had the other RBI, scored once and had a hit. Joella Vermiere had a hit and scored once. Abby Cline had two hits. Madison Bishop scored once and had a hit also.

For Clinton, Courtney Mayfield and Victoria Wayne each had a hit and scored once. Holly Steward had two hits. Molly Shraple, Hanna Hickman, Rachel Boyland, Sam Lander and Molly Hampton all had hits for Clinton.

MKS lost the second game 3-2, with Madison Bishop pitching for the Lincoln team.

Hayley Turner had a triple and a single, which gave her two RBIs. Rebecca Brooks had two hits and scored once. Abby Cline had a hit and scored once. Breanna Waller had a double. Joella Vermiere and Haley Renfro both had hits also to help out MKS.

For Clinton, Ashley Toohill had two hits and scored once. Katy Bridges and Brianna Stengel both had hits and scored once. Katlyn Pruett and Faythe Newberry each had singles to help Clinton to the win.
