Mildred Vonderahe

[November 12, 2007]  Mildred E. Vonderahe, 90, of Lincoln died Monday, Nov. 12, 2007, at 12:10 a.m. at The Christian Village.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, with a prayer service at 4 p.m.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Church, with the Rev. Jeffrey Laible officiating.

Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Mrs. Vonderahe was a homemaker.

She was born Nov. 15, 1916, at Hartsburg to Willis T. and Anna A. McBride Wright. She married George W. Vonderahe on Dec. 16, 1926, in Lincoln. He preceded her in death on May 10, 1999.

She is survived by one son, Ray (and Judy) Vonderahe of Lincoln, and one granddaughter, Nan (and Dave) Lockenour of Lincoln.

She was also preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.

She was a member of Holy Family Church, the Altar and Rosary Society of the church, Daughters of Isabella, and was a charter member and life member of Women of the Moose of Lincoln.

Memorials may be made to The Christian Village or Carroll Catholic School.
