            		Ruth M. Kukuck, 86, of Lincoln died 
			Friday, Nov. 16, 2007, at 11:05 p.m. at Memorial Medical Center in 
			Springfield. 
							Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the 
							First Christian Church of Champaign and from 12:30 
							to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader 
							Funeral Home in Lincoln. | 
						
							| There will be at 7 p.m. 
							service on Monday at the Champaign church and a 
							second service at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at 
							Fricke-Calvert-Schrader in Lincoln. Bob Phillips 
							will officiate. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery. Mrs. Kukuck had been a registered nurse at Mercy 
							and Burnham hospitals in the Champaign-Urbana area. 
							She worked in several areas of nursing, including 
							surgery, recovery room, night staff nursing and 
							night supervisor.  She was born July 10, 1921, in Manteno to James 
							M. and Aduna V. Baunach Chobar. She married Edward 
							E. Kukuck on April 27, 1944, in Bonfield, and he 
							preceded her in death on March 12, 1977. She is survived by two sons, Dean (and Judy) 
							Kukuck of Lincoln and Todd (and Donna) Kukuck of 
							Crestwood, Ky.; four grandchildren, Dawn (and Steve) 
							Peterson of Washington, Laura (Austin) Lamb of 
							Heyworth, Joel Kukuck of Lincoln and Sean (and 
							Sarah) Payne of Louisville, Ky.; and three 
							great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Emma Peterson and 
							Rowan Payne. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, 
							James and Lester Chobar, and one sister, Esther 
							Wagner.  | 
                    
					 Mrs. Kukuck was a past active member of First 
							Christian Church in Champaign and a current member 
							of Lincoln Christian Church. She graduated from Silver Cross Hospital School 
							of Nursing in Joliet and participated in continuing 
							education from 1943 to 1984. Memorials may be made to the First Christian 
							Church in Champaign, Lincoln Christian Church or 
							Central Mexico Christian Mission.
