Thanks for supporting senior bath services          Send a link to a friend

On behalf of the State, County and Municipal Employees Council 31, Local 1277, we want to thank the community for their support during our fall fundraiser for bath aide services for low-income senior citizens.

A check will be presented to the Logan County Health Department for the Personal Care Service Program. The funds will allow certified nurse's aides to provide bath services to those who need, but cannot afford, the care. Community donations will continue to be accepted throughout the year for this program.

Thanks to Charlie, Bill and the staff of the Lincoln IGA for their help at the sandwich sale. Thanks to the Lincoln Junior Woman's Club for partnering with the union by providing baked goods as well as additional funding.

Also, sincere thanks to the union and nonunion members of the Logan County Health Department who volunteered their time and energy on a Saturday to make a difference in the lives of the people we serve.
