 The Angels qualified for the championship by defeating Moody Bible
Institute 30-25, 30-20, 30-15. Moody had earlier defeated Grace
Bible College to challenge the No. 1 seed LCC.
Maranatha qualified for the championship game by defeating Northland
Baptist Bible College 30-14, 26-30, 30-28, 30-15. Northland had
earlier defeated Great Lakes Bible College.
Moody and Northland will play for third place at 10 a.m.
The Angels with a record of 12-16 were led by Adriane Tschantz with
11 kills and 11 digs, Megan Donnelly with 37 assists and 11 digs,
and Jessica Schroeder with 12 digs.
The regional champion will advance to the national championship
tournament in Omaha, Nebraska, on November 8, 9, and 10.
