Janette A. Albert, 76, of Lincoln died
Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007, at 4:47 a.m. at Abraham Lincoln Memorial
Hospital.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Zion Lutheran Church in
Lincoln, with the Rev. Mark Thompson officiating. |
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln and
one hour prior to the service at the church on
Monday. Burial will be in Union Cemetery.
Mrs. Albert retired from Abraham Lincoln Memorial
Hospital after 15 years as a nurse in intensive
care.
She was born May 6, 1931, in Lincoln. Her mother
was Tetje Bartmann Stuan. Janette and Robert "Bob"
Albert were married on July 9, 1950, in Lincoln.
Mrs. Albert is survived by her husband, of
Lincoln; one son, Michael (and Jody) Albert of
Bullhead City, Ariz.; four daughters, Linda Sue
Sheley of Lincoln, Diana (and John) Lally of
Bloomington, Susan (and William) Streicher of
Granville, Ohio, and Gayle Caskey of Springfield; 18
grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one
brother, Richard Stuan. She was the last of her
immediate family. |
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Lincoln
and the Altar Guild of the church.
She enjoyed playing bridge.
Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church in
Lincoln or the Abraham Lincoln Memorial Foundation.
