A service and burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery,
Riverton, at a later date. There is no visitation.
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount
Pulaski is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Postlewait was retired from teaching high
school English at Paris, Ill.
She was born May 16, 1951, in Springfield to
Elmer Mendenhall and Opal Curry Beckers. She married
Michael Postlewait, and he preceded her in death in
2001.
She is survived by her mother, Opal Beckers of
Mount Pulaski; one brother, George (and Anna)
Beckers of Mount Pulaski; and three stepsons, John
Postlewait of Chicago, Danny Postlewait of Paris,
Ill., and Pat Postlewait of Atlanta, Ga.
She was also preceded in death by her father and
one son, Joshua.
Memorials may be made to Mount Pulaski Library.
