Mary Louise Dennis, 69, of Carlinville,
died Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at 12:15 p.m. at Maple Ridge Care
Centre.
There will be a memorial service in Carlinville at a
later date. |

Her body was cremated. Mrs. Dennis was a homemaker.
She was born May 31, 1938, in Carlinville to
George M. and Thelma Scott Gunning. She married Jack
D. Dennis in Carlinville on Jan. 29, 1955. He
preceded her in death.
She is survived by four sons, Wesley (and Jenny)
Dennis of Middletown, Wayne Dennis of White Hall,
Harold Gene (and Cyndi) Dennis of Lincoln and
Russell Dennis of Carlinville; one brother, Art
Gunning of Carlinville; three sisters, Rita Manning,
Betty Branson and Josie (and Ron) Talkington, all of
Carlinville; three grandchildren; and five
great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers,
Samuel, Charles and Ronald Gunning; and one sister,
Julia Friedrichs.
Mrs. Dennis was a member of Emmanuel Baptist of
Carlinville. |
She loved dolls and had 100 in her collection.
