Catherine L. Gaffney, 92, of Lincoln,
died Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at 5 p.m. at Abraham Lincoln Memorial
Hospital. |

Her graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at
St. Mary's Cemetery, with the Rev. John Pham
officiating. No visitation is scheduled.
Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln is in charge of
arrangements.
Mrs. Gaffney had been employed at Armour Creamery
and as an apartment manager in Chicago.
She was born Jan. 9, 1916, in Lincoln to Stanley
and Catherine Pelc Pushala. She married Paul
Gaffney, and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by one sister, Margaret Hagan of
Atlanta; one brother, Leo Pushala of Lincoln; and
several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers
and three sisters. |
She was a member of Holy Family Church.
Memorials may be made to her church or to Carroll
Catholic School.
