The first game was a heartbreaker as Lincoln had several
opportunities to gain the advantage, only to come up just short of
its goal. In the second game, Lincoln held a 2-0 lead through five
innings against a very talented Danville team. Danville's bats came
alive in the sixth and Lincoln was unable to respond. Even though
Danville rolled to victory, the Lincoln team fought hard until the
last run scored. First game
