Alice S.
Boice, 85, formerly of Middletown, died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008, at
9:25 p.m. at Lincoln Christian Village.
Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Lincoln Christian Church,
with Ron Otto and Tim Searby co-officiating. |

There will be no visitation. Burial will be in
Irish Grove Cemetery, Middletown.
Arrangements are by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Mrs. Boice was employed as a licensed practical
nurse at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital before
she retired.
She was born Feb. 6, 1923, in Chicago to Michael
and Ann Wolfe Albert. She married George L. Boice
Sr. on July 13, 1941, in Chicago. He preceded her in
death in 1970.
She is survived by one son, George L. Boice Jr.
of Lincoln, and one daughter, Carol (and Ron)
Henderson of Powell, Tenn.
One brother, Leroy Albert, preceded her in death.
She was the last of her immediate family. |
She was member of Lincoln Christian Church and
Middletown Historical Society. She was a volunteer
at Christian Village.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to
Lincoln-Logan Food Pantry.
