Glenva Dellinger, 81, of Lincoln,
formerly of Mena, Ark., died Friday, Aug. 8, 2008, at 11:59 p.m. at
Maple Ridge Care Centre.
Services will be in Arkansas at a later date. |
Her
body was cremated.
Burial will be in Pine Crest Cemetery, Mena, Ark.
Arrangements are by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Mrs. Dellinger was a seamstress and supervisor at
Renova Shirt Co. in Mena, Ark., before she retired.
She was a grandmother at Northwest School and
Christian Child Care in Lincoln.
She was born April 5, 1927, at Amity, Ark., to
Ira and Rebecca Deering Wood. She married U.D.
Dellinger in 1945 at Ben Lomand, Ark. He preceded
her in death.
She is survived by one son, Jerry D. Dellinger of
Lincoln; one granddaughter, Heather Michelle
Dellinger of Chicago; one brother, Jackie Wood of
Paris, Ark.; and one sister, Imogene Mize of Ben
Lomand, Ark. |
She was also preceded in death by two sisters and
one brother.
She was a member of Lincoln Bible Church, and
memorials may be made to the church.
