Lois Denney

[December 05, 2008]  Lois Mae Denney, 77, of Lincoln died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2008, at 10:25 a.m. at Meadows Mennonite Retirement Center, Chenoa.

The family will have a private memorial service with Jacob Skelton officiating.

There is no visitation.

Arrangements are being handled by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Mrs. Denney retired from Lincoln Developmental Center, where she was a mental health technician.

She was born July 13, 1931, in Decatur to Flossie Lucille Neal. She married Lee James Denney in February 1955 in Decatur.

She is survived by four daughters, Clara (and Terry) Charron, Diane (and Robert) Baker, Linda (and Dan) Denlinger and Sharon Denney, all of Lincoln; one sister, Darlene (and Dean) Davis of Melbourne, Ark.; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded by her parents, husband and one brother.
