[December 08, 2008]  Sunday saw the Lincoln Youth Wrestling Club host the 2008 Railer Rumble with over 400 kids from around central Illinois competing. (Pictures by Mike Fak. Click on pictures for larger images.)

InsuranceIn the 6-and-under age group, Kaison Reagan and Zach Malerich each finished in fourth place.

The 7- and 8-year-old division saw Blake Coppinger, Bryce Watkins and Alexander Bergin finish fourth. Trevor Bree and Jordan Malerich each placed third, and Anthony Withers grabbed second place.

Austin Swarts and Nathan Richardson paced the 9- and 10-year-old division by bringing home first-place trophies. Max Koning and Ethan Moore each wrestled to impressive second-place finishes. William Bergin, Jacob White and Andrew Lawrence each placed third. Jarrett Poole, Haidyn Carroll, Austin Norman and Jonathan Riddle all finished fourth.

In the 11- and 12-year-old bracket, Aaron Trueblood took home a first-place trophy. Conner Routson battled to a second-place finish and Christian McDonald finished fourth.

Lincoln's youth team will travel to Springfield next Sunday to compete in the Capitol Classic.
