"We had a couple breakout performances offensively this game, with
Bryce Davis scoring 29 points and hauling down 16 rebounds, Don
Gavin with 28 points and seven rebounds. Our guards did a great job
of finding the open man against their zone. "However, their two
guards lit us up for 59 points on 10-of-20 from the 3-point line.
This is the second game in a row in which their two guards accounted
for more than half of the team's points.
"We are going to have to find some toughness and sit down and
guard people on the perimeter. With our first conference game this
Saturday, I hope our guys find a sense of urgency on the defensive
end."
Lincoln's record is now 7-6.
The Lynx's next game, their first conference game, is against
Lincoln Land at home on Saturday.
