Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[December 12, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery lost 2 cents to $5.075 a bushel; March corn gained 9.5 cents to $3.515 a bushel; March oats slipped 0.5 cent to $2.095 a bushel; and January soybeans rose 27 cents to $8.565 a bushel.

Beef futures traded higher while pork futures were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle rose 0.02 cent to 83.82 cents a pound; January feeder cattle advanced 0.25 cent to 87.6 cents a pound; February lean hogs fell 0.75 cent to 62.37 cents a pound; and February pork bellies fell 2.08 cents to 82.42 cents a pound.
